Our History
The history of Grupo Astur dates back to the end of 1949 when the classic and family-owned Hotel Noro opened its first establishment in the city of Mar del Plata.
The following years were marked by hard work, and after establishing itself in the hotel sector in 1979, it inaugurated its second self-built venture, the Hotel Traful.
Starting in the 1980s, the group began to expand both in Argentina and Brazil.
Currently, Grupo Astur is associated with more than 15 hotels and inns in the most touristy areas of Brazil and Argentina. It has its own travel agency and a reservations center.
